Shared Testimonies of everyday people, just like
you and I, who are Born Again Christians
by the Awesome Saving Grace of GOD, our Father through the sacrificial death of His Only Son Jesus. We overcome him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and the word of our Testimony. Revelation 12v11. So help someone else by sharing your Testimony.
I started drinking at the age of seventeen and steadily progressed. By the time I had reached my mid-thirties, I was a full-blown drug addict. When I hit bottom in the summer of 1988 from a drug deal gone bad, I was devastated. I wanted to pray to God to help me, but felt unworthy to call upon His name.
As a young boy growing up, my parents often made me attend church. I never cared much about going. But I had girlfriends that went there so I went just to hang out with them. But thankfully my mother and I were very close. And during this time I made her a promise, that some day I would be baptized. It would end up being 23 years later, but by the grace of God, I kept my promise to her. I finely asked Jesus into my life on May 9th. 1996, unknowingly on mother’s day.

I grew up as a Catholic. I went to a Catholic school, attended a Catholic church, lived in a Catholic family. I grew up knowing about religion, about a guy named Jesus, and a God somewhere out there but invisible to the eye. I believed in evolution, never opened a Bible, and was content with my life. I don't quite remember when I left the catholic church but I do know it was several years ago. However, even though I no longer attended mass, I still considered myself a catholic. I had always had some problems with Catholicism, things I never quite agreed with, but just went along with. Just a couple of those things included the fact they wanted me to confess my sins to a priest, more
I was raised by a praying hymnal singing grandma until I was 11 years old. Then she died and I was left with a single alcoholic mother who ran a bar to raise me. My father was killed in a bar fight when I was 6 weeks old. So I never knew him. My step father died when I was 11 years old. Once it was just my mother and I there was way to much alone time. I began searching for someone to love me. Of course the world provided that in the means of a 15 year old boy. By the time I was 15 years old I was pregnant and married. That was a 19 month period of drugs, drinking, fighting, and adultery. Then came husband #2. That was a short lived 9 months of hurt feelings and lies. more
Well well WELL, where do I start?!?
I am an artist and musician originally from the Texas Panhandle. I was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma and spent my early childhood years reading, daydreaming, and drawing in beautiful Lipscomb County Texas.
I wasn't brought up in church. My mother tried to take my 2 brothers & me. The bus would pick us up & we'd stay but when she dropped us off, we'd go out the back door & climb the small mountain behind the building. We were raised in San Diego where my dad was stationed. I didn't like school so I hung out with others like me. Skipped classes & left campus & partied. Wound up being put into a school for kids like me. I started doing white crosses (speed). Soon I started dealing speed. I continued to party all of the time. My life was one big party. Was in a very abusive relationship which wound up in me having to have reconstructive surgery more
I was asked to share my testimony. I prayed last night and this morning that the words I typed would help someone that maybe traveling down the same path I did several years ago. Thank you God for your mercy on waiting.
My name is Lusi and I was born in Dallas, TX on Oct 26, 1984 . Some people have described me as an “old” soul. I grew up on the South Side of Fort Worth, Texas, where gang activity, domestic violence, drugs, and alcohol were considered “normal.” My older brother and sister were affiliated with gangs and I got to witness a lot of violence at an early age.
By the grace of God I attended Calvary Church in Irving briefly (thank God for church buses), and then Catholic Church in Fort Worth (with my best friend and her mom). That’s where God began to plant seeds of faith in my heart. more

Maurice Temi was a gifted artist — his work had graced the halls of African Palaces and governmental buildings — but his artistic ability was brought to an abrupt end one night when he was attacked and brutally beaten with stones and boards.
The worst of the attackers' damage was done to his right arm and for the next six years he suffered severe pain in that arm. Even the most simple tasks became difficult and artwork that once brought him and others great joy became a burden.
He eventually stopped creating art because of the pain and fell into depression.
Maurice was filled with hope when he heard that a CfaN Great Gospel Campaign was coming to his town. With a heart full of faith he attended the campaign in Agbani, Nigeria.
At one of the meetings after prayer for the sick, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda said "If you know God has done something for you, then do something you could not do before..." As Maurice acted in faith and moved his arm, he was shocked and amazed that the pain had gone.
Now, Maurice is sure that the same miracles we read about in the Bible still happen today. He is a living testimony to that, and as a result he has returned to his artwork and is again bringing great joy to himself and others.
